Aplast was once again an exhibitor at the world’s largest trade fair for water, sewage, waste, and raw materials – IFAT 2024. The fair took place in Munich, Germany, from May 13th to 17th, 2024.
At the first of our two exhibition booths, we showcased our “standard repertoire” of sewage and water management solutions: the 5G shaft combined with a special filling composition of concrete + polyurethane, the electro-cable shaft, the pumping shaft, the water meter thermal shaft with the tilting TOPcap cover, and the AQUAstay FLAT 5000L water tank, which was also the central attraction of our trade fair presentation. AQUAstay FLAT tanks are available in capacities ranging from 5,000 liters to 25,000 liters and are designed for storing rainwater, drinking water, and wastewater. Compared to traditional tanks, they allow for an easier installation. With an integrated water capturing system and suitable connections for fire equipment, AQUAstay tanks can also be used for fire safety purposes. A special feature of the 5000L AQUAstay FLAT tank is its exceptional durability – it withstands vehicle traffic loads up to a total weight of 7.5 tons. A new addition is the AQUAfil Rainwater Filter, a self-cleaning filter for rainwater, before it enters the tank. It is intended for the mechanical cleaning of rainwater.
At the second exhibition booth, where ECOdip containers for deep waste collection were the main focus, visitors were presented with solutions for semi-underground waste collection provided by various versions of ECOdip containers. A new feature at this year’s fair are the redesigned cover and lid. The cover and lid are designed so that the lid is “submerged” in the cover with an integrated electronic access system. This feature makes the product resistant to wind gusts in more exposed areas, preventing the lid from opening. The product is ergonomically designed with smooth, soft lines, contributing to a wonderful visual effect in the environment.
Our visiors had the opportunity to verify firsthand the robustness and innovation of our products, further confirming Aplast’s commitment to providing high-quality and reliable solutions for water and waste management. The next IFAT fair will take place in Munich in two years, from May 4 to 8, 2026.
